Most common month for launches over the last five years? March: I’ve shot 13 launches in the month of March. Least common? September/November: 5 each.

The most common day of the month for a launch so far? The 6th, 15th, and 18th: 7 launches on all of those days. Least common? 

I’ve never shot a launch on the 13th.

It’s Friday, my dudes. And Friday often happens to be the day of the week on which I’ve shot the most launches: 18. Tuesday comes in last place with only 9 launches.

Remote cameras at pad for liftoff: Remotes: 59 No remotes: 41* *There were some missions early on where I set remotes at the pad, but ultimately pulled them before liftoff, due to scrubs or other delays.

Watching from media-only or public locations: Public: 58* 
Media: 42 *There are many instances where I have media access but prefer to utilize public locations for more creative images.
