Everyone should respond to these important consultations. Our plan aims to ensure green areas such as these are planned strategically in order to maximise economic & environmental benefits for everyone. No better place to launch than sunny north Belfast!

I was delighted to open at the Grand Opera House earlier today. I’m proud of our multi-cultural city. The right to seek & enjoy asylum is a key human right open to us all & we must all support & welcome refugees who find their home here.

Loneliness in our society is crippling & cruel. I was proud to support the Campaign to End Loneliness along with Age NI, Red Cross & others as we can all make a difference to connect better with those in our society who are isolated.

A motley crew of cycling & shared space enthusiasts with our Béal Feirste Ard Mhéara in the grounds of City Hall post the morning toot and a fine bacon bap with lashing of brown sauce. Another great ride out to start the day that’s in it 🚴‍♂️✊️😎

Beautiful time at Belfast Zoo’s Dreamnight. It provides an opportunity for children with life-threatening & chronic illnesses to visit the zoo in a safe & secure environment, supported by their charities. The giant lizard didn’t scare me but feeding the giraffes, maybe!

Barry & Trevor have tonight been totally exonerated. They have been grievously wronged, as have the long suffering Loughinisland families. Police have a lot of questions to answer on their motives & the purpose of their investigation.
