After the game everything was so wild but I realized that it all came to an end. It was the best four years I’ve ever had, and it coudlnt have ended better. I mean I would’ve wanted to beat them by many more touchdowns, but its all good, a win is a win!

It turns out that that touchdown was the only touchdown scored in the whole game and we ended up winning the game 7-0.

and cuz it was a backwards pass, I picked it up and returned it 60 yards for a touchdown. The first score of the game.

I was lined up on the edge and after the play started I jumped off the ball as fast as I could and I went to go sack the QB.. I quickly realized that he was making a quick throw so I reacted fast and jumped the ball. I didn’t catch the ball but I tipped it

Once kickoff got here, both teams came out firing. It was a good rough first quarter and no one scored. It was a really well played defensive game and it was obvious, but somebody was destined to strike first.

Things got a little heated between the two teams during warmups because the other team started to act a little disrespectful and we weren’t gonna take that. The coaches ended up separating it before it got bad, but the tensions were definitely super high and we were all ready

When all the meetings were done, the players and the coaches headed out to the field for warmups and started to get ready for the game. By this time of the night there isn’t usually fans but it felt like all of the fans were already there

After getting taped we headed back down to the lockeroom, we had defensive meeting and the preparation started. We went over our gameplay and what our goals were for the game, week by week the goals differed but one thing stayed the same… Win the game.

After Dinner we all go upstairs to the field house where our athletic trainers are and we get taped and ready to go for the game. In the field house there’s a ton of other stuff going on like volleyball practice, people are lifting, boy’s soccer is in there, and it’s just busy

After We got out of school, all of the football players go down to our lockeroom that is attached to our school and go chill for a little bit. The parents make us dinner so we ate a little bit but not too much because we didn’t want to puke or feel S****

Another thing to keep in mind is that the school I go to hasn’t missed the playoffs in almost 20 years. And before that year, it was another 20 years before, that the Whitefish Bay Blue dukes did not make the playoffs. There was a huge weight on our shoulders,

Also I gotta mention that the winner of this game gets to go to the playoffs. Were both an even record at the end of the season and in our conference, if you have a winning record, you get to go to the playoffs.

After school the smack talking started right away. I was getting texts and Instagram’s and twitters and the beef is extremely real. They were confident that they were gonna win and we were confident that we were gonna win. And nothing was gonna change that besides the game

After the pep rally was when the real deal started to happen. When the pep rally was over that meant the school day was over and that all we had left for the day was the big game.

When we got to that pep rally after the school day, it was lit. everyone was dancing and going crazy and having a ton of fun. It was surreal and I was super happy but sad at the same time that it was going to be my last time doing this.

So it ended up that my last home game of my senior year was our homecoming game and that was always the best game. All the festivities like the pep rally, the parade, and the dance. Everyone shows out to the game and its hella lit
