Releasing react-three-fiber today, a new reconciler for 's . This one's a bit different than those before. Declarative scene graphs w/o regressions + interaction. Opens the doors for hooks and the react-eco-system. Still early days, though.

react-spring 7.2.0 out today! New useChain hook orchestrates animations, without having to mess with them made big contributions to this. Also, finally ONE unified render-loop for all springs === better perf 🔥⚡️.

Orchestrating animation primitives that have little to do with one another (waiting for a spring to finish, then do a transition) has been one of the hardest problems in React animation so far (see: by ) Most solutions fake it with delays.

I moved react-spring ownership to a GH org today, this will make it easier to build a team around it for safer maintenance and longevity. Also, if anyone wants to lend us a hand with design work, we're looking for a logo/brand (with full credit): 😊

Its been a breath of fresh air using the new hooks api for react-spring. This has actually changed the way I think about building animations in react.

Something really cool will drop soon thx to Didn't think i'd rewrite react-spring into hooks TBH, couldn't imagine how that would even be possible, other than useSpring. But he's done it, the API will be land of milk n honey for people that dislike render props. 🥰
