Pro-tip: Your resume does NOT need to be one page. More than likely, you'll jam so much on it, people will get overwhelmed and not even read it.

Yikes, Harvard revoked that Parkland student’s acceptance because of deeply racist language he used and he’s saying, “They’re judging me for something I did when I was sixteen!” That’s literally how university admissions work. They judge you by what you do when you’re sixteen.

Testimonials like the one above are how I measure whether or not I'm doing it right. See what my courses can do for you — at a very low price, for a very limited time: (6/6)

It happens because in all that time I've the same patterns of success and failure over and over again. All I do in my courses is share what I know to be true, what I have seen work. Common sense and practicality, not jargon or proprietary processes or mystical bullshit. (5/6)

This doesn't happen because I'm a UX "guru" or an "expert" or possess some other magic powers. It happens because I've got almost 30 years of hard knocks under my belt, a lot of time over the target learning what works and what doesn't. (4/6)

... I gave myself 2 weeks to go over all the content and had no problem at all learning the phases. I even used some of the stories and examples in my interviews. Very engaging points and a fantastic presentation! Joe—you're a life saver!” - Anthony Gracey, Art Dir. & UXer (3/6)

Here's an example of what I mean: "I got my dream job thanks to this course! I am a long time visual designer. I [took this course] specifically to give myself a crash course on UX in order to qualify for a Sr. UXD position at a very reputable company... (2/6)

I take great pride in the fact that people get real RESULTS from my online and courses. I think we'd all agree that this is the only real measure that matters anyway: did that stuff you learned help you DO anything? Achieve anything? Be better, smarter, stronger? (1/6)

That's a good thing, because the fear will always be there. Learning to make peace with it, put it in it's proper place (the passenger seat, instead of the driver's) is a critical piece to a successful career. In anything ;-) BRAVO to you!

I did download it, MAC OS. It will not let me create a post without upgrading to the PRO version. It opens the post window but will not allow me to add anything into it.

Don’t accept offers of low salary + equity stakes. This only pays dividends for one in 10,000 people, and the odds are likely much worse than that.

I follow these tips for wireframing by on : 👩‍💻 - Start with free-hand sketches to gather ideas - Keep the UI generic, do not focus on colors or fonts - Use real layout specs, labels, content - Include error-feedback More? , ,
