of course it is. Third column on my Lumia 920 would look silly and make the tiles tiny

the team could add the "swiping down" to close apps on the multitasking screen, exactly the way it is in Wndows 8. :)

I'm actually happy with that, 6 tiny tiles on a 4.5 screen doesn't cut it for me

No link, but I remember reading this morning that OOB apps (mail) will be built to scale (more content) in 1080p

how about easier access to rotation lock (like on iOS) you could put it next to ring/silent in device volume pop-up

OS consistency demands/suits an "X" icon better. The same on tab view on IE.

I agree with the tweet below! Why the "X"? In Windows 8, we swipe down to close apps. So in WP8... we should do the same?
