Dress however you please. Call yourself whatever you like. Sleep with any consenting adult who’ll have you. Live your best life in peace and security. But force women out of their jobs for stating that sex is real?

As a gay man that found safety in Hogwarts throughout my childhood - knowing that Trans people wouldn’t be able to have that safety breaks my heart.

What a ridiculous thing to say. As if this makes anyone 'unsafe'. Tell you what does though: being a woman standing up for our sex-based rights that feminists fought for because of male violence, to then loose our jobs when we speak the truth about who is male and who is female.

JK Rowlings is finding out science & facts are offensive & are therefore prohibited on the left. Only feelings rule & so she is now being cancelled by her own people. You can never be woke enough till you accept every last one of their fantasies as reality

I remember a time not too long ago when you Christians hated Rowling and burned her books and banned them from libraries. Transphobia is a powerful connective tool, it seems.

I’m not here to cancel JK Rowling as a person and stoke mob outrage. I’m just here to educate and inform. Trans rights are human rights and trans women are women. Also, white feminism can sometimes intersect with trans exclusion or white supremacy, which is unjust.

Also, It is both a scientific and medical fact that intersex individuals do exist and gender is not as binary as mainstream society is set to believe. There have been documented cases of patients born with genetically male 46 XY karyotype who have gotten pregnant and gave birth.

As a cis queer woman with a trans sibling, it’s not enough to support the LGB community at the expense of the trans community.

And for heartbroken trans Harry Potter fans, Remember what Hagrid said after being outed as half-giant: I am what I am, an’ I’m not ashamed. ‘Never be ashamed,’ my ol’ dad used ter say, ‘there’s some who’ll hold it against you, but they’re not worth botherin’ with’
