can frankly stick his ridiculous vouchers, only accessible by people who can afford to eat out. I’ve got a better idea- give all the Care Staff £500 cash. Y’know the people that was clapping for one day and shitting all over the next?

Eye-catching announcements are easy — delivery is hard. As I pointed out to the Chancellor quoting his record this afternoon:

does plenty of gestures, every one of them meaningless. One minute spaffing all over our NHS like a safari park chimp, then opening pubs on a Saturday, causing huge backlogs in A and E. Not to mention bringing back the charges.

If every NHS nurse, doctor, support worker was to send a bill to the govt for payment for every shift they finished late, break they couldn’t take...they’d sooner cough up for the parking ! All the extra hours we put in must be worth millions 💰💰💰!

RT if you’re NOT feeling optimistic about trying to pay your rent with a 50% off voucher for Nandos.

Very strange response you should find it helpful because its a true reflection of the force you lead. It might be uncomfortable but deal with it. It is still the reality and it causes considerable distress. Progress has been made but evidently not enough.

I have today resigned all the positions and offices I held locally and regionally on behalf of and I’ve subsequently resigned my membership. The reasons why can be found here👇 ‘The UK Labour Party is no longer a home for Socialists’

This is a disgrace. At the start of this crisis we persuaded the government to scrap parking charges for all health and social care staff. Now ministers are showing their true colours.

nails it. Worrying that in the face of huge job losses Chancellor is stumbling from month to month failing to either address gaps in existing support or lay firm long term plans. The prospect of a half price meal in August is no comfort if you’re losing your job.

Even by the standards of British politics, the speed by which 'key workers' went from being celebrated every week to being irresponsible carers, sacked council workers and disposable migrants again is pretty staggering.

Are any Labour PLP members going to speak out about the car parking charges for patients & staff? I'm not hearing or reading any condemnation in clear terms about it. Why the silence? I'm disgusted, the Labour party should be shouting loudly about this!

8 May 2017: Corbyn promises NHS Free Car parking. The cost was calculated at £162m yearly paid for by increasing insurance premium charge on Private Healthcare from 12% to 20%. 8 July 2020: Labour can no longer say if they oppose NHS car parking charges.

I propose that all NHS staff clap for about 10 seconds after parking their car. That should be sufficient payment
