Your pastor may have a great word, but he can’t teach you strength. Only God gives you strength, and it comes in answer to prayer.

If you want to find out who the real Jesus is, get alone with God and start reading Matthew, Mark, Luke, John… Search the Scriptures diligently and pray: “God, reveal to my heart the truth of who Jesus is.” He will hear your prayer.

Jesus came to save us from our sins so that we can be with him forever. For 70-80-90 years we live here, but that’s a split second compared to eternity. He said, “I go to prepare a place for you...that where I am you may be also” (John 14:2-3) Let’s rejoice in that thought today.

When someone spews hatred, anger, violence, cursing & character assassination, I don’t care if that person goes to church every day of the week, they don’t know the true Jesus. There’s only 1 true Jesus & he represents “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son…”

The only way that you and I are going to be in heaven is to have forgiveness of sins. I have to repent—I have to humble myself and say I’m wrong. 4/4 -from the sermon “Which Jesus?”

The Bible says “You shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” Why was he crucified? Because of sin, the violation of God’s law. When people make light of sin or don’t mention sin, they’re preaching another gospel. 3/4 -from the sermon “Which Jesus?”

The apostle Paul said, “I was determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.” When a church doesn’t preach about the cross and Christ dying and rising again from the dead, they’re preaching another Jesus. 2/4 -from the sermon “Which Jesus?”

You know that a church or believer is talking about the Jesus of the Bible when the main message they cherish is the good news that Christ came into the world to die for our sins so that we could be with him forever. 1/4 - from the sermon “Which Jesus?”

Any step of faith on our part that yields obedience to him, no matter how faltering, brings down God’s blessing so that we can be a blessing to others. May this thought encourage you today.

In our busy age of texting, social media, and the 24-hour news cycle, God still says to his people, “Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)

The Bible warns us against being deceived into believing in a false Jesus and a false gospel. So how do we know if we're serving the true Jesus? Praying this message from God's Word will minister to you.
