... I’m an ex Winchcombe Town Councillor so wish to be constructive, happy to meet Highways Officer but resurfacing without dealing with underlying problems will be a wasted exercise in my opinion.

... This freezes in winter and will quickly destroy any newly laid surface. This section of road has been repaired on numerous occasions to no avail.

Hi thanks for responding. The water problems are far more serious than dealing with gullies. There are at least two springs that deposit large quantities of water on the carriageway.

Hi James, the gully emptying crew has attended on Mon and Tues this week. There are a couple of culverts in the roadside verges that need cleaning out and these will be addressed as soon as possible but these are not road gullies. Many thanks, Glos Roads Team

just heard you intend to resurface Sudeley Hill Winchcombe, great news but surely the spring water and blocked culverts need dealing with first!! Otherwise pointless, money wasting exercise.

Just signed this petition from Greenpeace might be a great way to get this new decade going and reduce suffocating waste affecting every living creature and flora on the planet.

The RCT came across this today. Attacked by deer coursers dogs near Kemble. 3 days ago a resident reported seeing the fawn. . The fawn was still alive but was severely suffering and had to be dispatched. A sick "sport" for sick individuals with no regard for our wildlife.
