Great article by my friend on and ’s appeal to people’s emotions as well as rational minds. This is not just about the possibility of , but about entrepreneurship and speaking to an audience.

To make any real impact, in business or politics, you need to get over rejection from the wrong people (detractors), and seek approval from the right ones (fans/customers). Trying to be like by everyone is the death throe of your cause.

Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman. It was my first inkling that an ordinary person could go around solving physics.

Lisa, I think I know you. You once recruited me for a position at about 10 years ago. It didn’t work out but I remember taking to you lol.

Absolutely. $120k might buy you 1K subscribers if it’s really well done and if you are lucky, because the ROI for traditional advertising in a crowded space is always very low. It’s more about brand awareness. But a raffle like this produces instant return.

As an entrepreneur, I'm fascinated by 's campaign. This was a classic example of growth hacking. The elites were laughing, but not the people who needed the $1k/m. 15M watched the debate, 1% entry = 150k emails, and that's huge in marketing.

I was never categorically suicidal, but during the depth of my depression and disappointment during my college years, a few dark thoughts brushed past my sorrow soul. Thankfully God helped me through. Now my life is filled with joy, meaning and fulfillment.

lost. I never understood the outrage on Coach K coaching just because Duke was also benefiting from it. So the 76 winning streak and 5 medals aren’t good enough?

You are underselling this. They own 25 first round picks in the next 23 years. That’s 25% of 100 picks in less than a quarter century.

Amanda, my confirmation number is MYSNU8. I understand there are delays, but your gate agent wouldn’t let me board an earlier flight even when she could n it had seats. She told me to wait cuz “they are catching up”. Now it’s 2 hours delayed. It’s about customer service & care.

Heading to Denver to receive the Golden Gavel award. Thank you ! My 4 year old son has been asking me “did you bring back the gavel today” everyday I came home for the past 3 months. Now it will be over.

If you are thinking about taking a risk but worry about others’ opinion, remember this: if you fail, no one cares, because they are all occupied with their failure and fear. But if you succeed, people will care, because they will want to be you and learn from you. Take the risk!
