Every this goes with every that. Without others there is no self, and without somewhere else there is no here.

"This is not democracy. Spreading lies in darkness, paid for by illegal cash." "Is this how you want history to remember you? As the handmaidens to authoritarianism?" Brilliant and brave calls out the "gods of Silicon Valley".

In 1930 the Nazis gained 107 seats in the Reichstag. It took 12 years before they built the death camps. Fascism starts with poisonous rhetoric blaming vulnerable groups for society’s ills. David Lammy is right. The ERG, Farage and UKIP are the beginning of something very ugly.

Just despicable beyond words. All power to you, David Lammy. You so speak for the humanity in us all. And you’re not so bad either, David Charles. Ever onward! xJ

This gets you in the heart. It’s sadly ancient and beautiful. Parisians singing as they watch the Notre Dame cathedral burn. What else can they do?

With less haste, we have more speed, since rushing sets up a whole multitude of antagonistic vibrations.

Time’s always moving on; nothing can stop it. We can’t change the past, but we can still learn from it. And we can shape the future, creating a more peaceful era, by adopting a realistic approach, recognising that the more compassionate you are, the more you’ll find inner peace.
