2/2 It's an example of how we fail to find solutions because the way we describe it, is fruitless. The word "capitalism" is a hangover from when many intellectuals (but by no means all) fantasized about communism. Time to let the term go.

1/2 Ok, time to stand up on my soapbox: People who say "capitalism" is bad must understand that the only industrial-level system that is not capitalist is communism. The word capitalism is kind of useless, since it bunches all other systems together

Some people smooth out systems they don't understand, & take us for a ride. We trust them, they're so self-confident… but often they get off before the ride goes off the rails. Could be called "the hidden wisdom of people not following their own dished-out advice"🤣

I think flask has the ability plug in a higher capacity server in like one line of code, such as Tornado, Gunicorn, Bjoern. At least I did that, with some 5 years ago…

It is sad to think that all of this CRLite work was done to catch less than 300 actually revoked certificates out of millions of certs processed during their December test on nightly builds, and yet it's crucial for security! This really shows how painful PKI is.

Up and running on my own instance, I can authorize e.g the desktop client Pumpa to post with markdown and an image, Pumpa to the left, web to the right. Also, I'm gonna hide this server behind a more hardened server, but it seems to work just fine 🙂

Looking into the world of federated social networks/applications such as . It's partly a world of unmaintained packages, self signed certificates, long gone sites and discussions time stamped in 2013. But I think the time is ripe for these things

Bitten by javascript block scoping: Debug a Dart webview, code works in Chrome: const foo = someFunc() So wrap it in a try/catch block… But const (and let) are block scoped. So foo now unavailable in the rest of the code. Quickly found it but still…
