Updated map/cartogram of covid cases by small area in England in the week ending 27/09. Each small hexagon⬢ represents an MSOA with a population of around 7,000-10,000. Black lines are local authorities, and areas are grouped into traditional counties (etc).

This map includes newly announced local lockdown areas. We’ve also changed the description of national gatherings restrictions in Wales and Northern Ireland. Gatherings are regulated differently across the UK. So we wanted to make sure the differences were clear on the map.
