2/2 I think you also like FRP (we met at your Combine workshop at FrenchKit) so I was wondering what makes you use Operations over FRP in Collect?

1/2 I’ve been using Operations extensively on a previous project, but now I know functional reactive programming (mostly RxSwift), I couldn’t imagine working with Operations again for advanced async code handling.

The schedule is not an issue of the company works in a remote first spirit: event people at the office work as if they were remote. Stand up meeting with 3 people at the office and 1 in remote? All four on zoom, in different areas. Not 3 in a room with a single camera.

Of course, I realize that I was far from being the first to make this joke. Sorry 😐

What about having 44% of employees working remotely 1-2 days per week, 27% working remotely 3-4 days, 23% working remotely full time and the other always coming at the office. Ideally it should be a vote imposed to everyone but everyone should be able to work the way they prefer.

I wish Carthage never existed. The idea was really good. But it just doesn’t work.

FYI Paper by handles that pretty well. The gesture works only if it starts in the upper left/right corner.

Speaking about suggestions, it would be great to make the gesture to turn pages a little bit more « difficult » because I constantly create and turn pages against my will, especially when I touch the screen with the palm of my hand while drawing.

Je comprend pas, ça pourrait pas t’empêcher d’écrire dans un tweet si ? Du coup c’est quoi, ça empêche juste la personne mentionnée de recevoir une notification ?

It’s improved with next 13.5 (I think « improved » here means « asks for the code immediately » though)
