And the solution doesn't necessarily mean component CSS classes. It can be reusable React/Vue/Blade components with those same classes.

And what happens more often than not is the anticipated pain never happens... So you stick with the handful of utility classes on the element, and you're good to go.

My favorite thing about CSS utility frameworks like is that you are encouraged to delay the creation of reusable components for as long as possible. You must feel pain before the necessity becomes clear and you extract (think .button, .card, etc.).

Been writing a good bit of CSS this last month, and it's once again clear that flexbox is the solution to most layout decisions. The greatest addition to CSS in the last decade imo.
