Grand opening at the Skills Trail at Shawnee Mission Park was a huge success. Thanks to all of the volunteers putting in the hours to make it happen! Lots of little shredders out there today!!!

Ok, word from Planning is there's some money in the 5 year CIP for improvements at Heritage Off Leash, but it's not fully programmed yet. We're waiting for results from our ADA study/audit that's happening as we speak. -Nick

Yes, because it really rained about 8 days and takes two days of no rain following a rain day to dry out sufficiently to be able to pour concrete and work. Also, if it stays dry, it'll be done earlier and open earlier than Oct. 13th.
