Yeah, I'm a fan of making your ABI boundary be all C or COM and putting a C++/Rust/whatever non-ABI-stable language wrapper on top of the ABI, but that doesn't seem to be a popular sentiment among library developers

I wouldn't think Firefox would want to skimp on quality either. Maybe I'm mistaken about their use of SDF but I thought they did get GPU accelerated rendering working

I thought Firefox's new WebRender engine was also able to successfully render text on GPU using signed distance fields, like Valve's Source engine does
