Agreed. If it leads to apps explaining why they need it, I’m fine with that.

Mouse only. It’s not a touch screen per se, in Sidecar. Just the special bars in the left and right. Or if you’re in a drawing app.

Also, as I hoped, you can app switch while using Sidecar, to quickly get to an app on the iPad. Then switch back to Sidecar. It runs like any other app on the system.

I am digging using Sidecar as a place to put the Simulator so far.

Checks another long-time subscription annoyance from Apple off my list.

It shouldn’t be surprising, but an unreasonable number of apps want access to Bluetooth for no obvious reason in iOS 13. (Good on Apple surfacing this information to us.)

I went 1-screen with folders on my iPad a while back. Now I can fit more outside of folders, which is nice. Wish the Dock could hold one or two more apps, though.

Okay. Must be something weird with my iPod Touch, then. Good to know. Thanks.

Which is why I hesitated to put it on my main phone. If Health is buggy, I may not be able to get RECaf working properly, in any case.

Can you do me a favor, and launch the Health app on your iOS 13 device? Any issues with it launching? Can you see your caffeine data? I couldn’t even get Health to launch in Beta 1 on my iPod touch.

I will add you to the list. No beta ready yet. But I plan to get to work on it soon. And I will definitely have a non-crashing version as soon as possible, as I will need it myself once I upgrade my main phone to iOS 13.

This change, on the other hand, is one of many in iOS 13 I can definitely get behind.

I visit the update tab more than once daily right now. All those extra taps add up.

I’m just talking completely on a personal level as a customer. I like reading the Release Notes. And I like knowing when my apps are updated.

My feelings aren’t mixed. I hate this change.
