If you are “pro-life” and are not screaming at the top of your lungs in anger about children being kept in cages, away from their mothers, with no toothbrushes or soap, sleeping on concrete, then you are not pro-life at all, and in fact, you’re a really crappy person all around.

This thread is worth reading and retweeting for all to see. No one expects politicians to be angels. But this extraordinary pattern of gross misconduct is further compelling evidence of Trump’s sociopathy and malignant narcissism, if any were needed.

Here we go again. A well known environmentalist group in my country is going after precut food. Can you not? Some disabled people need that and you’re throwing them under the bus. There needs to be more sustainable packaging but right now there isn’t.

Harrison Act 1915 taxed opiates reducing supply & creating 1st Heroin Epidemic. Today 95% opioid chemicals go to treatment of pain. DEA, under orders, is cutting production of opioid by 15%. More cruelty. Won’t save a single life.

“It might appear they are lazy because they are up and functioning fine one day and in bed the next. This isn’t a personal choice, goes up and down—the real challenge is to not overdo it on good days—then pay for it dearly the next.”

When I think of people lying awake at night, alone, in horrible, untreated, unremitting pain from painful disease syndromes it keeps me up at night as well. Good Lord, we provide more humane care for cats.

““Why is she parked in a spot? She looks fine… She’s too young.” Most of the public is uneducated on how and disease affect young people too. We're not faking an illness to get a close parking spot. We would much rather be able to walk.”

If you're wondering if the President of the goddamn United States just invited foreign intelligence agencies to hack and spy on his political opponents, he did.

I’ve not been well for a long time and I don’t just mean physically.

“Severe, prolonged tiredness on a mental, physical and emotional level. It’s not , its being completely and utterly spent so even eating and drinking seem like mammoth tasks. It’s not depression, you just don’t have anything left.”

Disability is all about problem solving, but the larger context of this story shouldn’t warm your heart. It should disturb you that insurance won’t cover basic mobility equipment. Denials for these needs happens all the time. Ingenuity can’t always save the day.

one thing I’d like more people to understand about chronic illness is how damn uncomfortable it is. i don’t mean abstractly, i mean i haven’t been comfortable since 2015, & it’s amazing to me that chronically ill people haven’t combusted into hot balls of fiery rage by now

Dear McConnell, Another mass shooting. Bring up the universal background checks bill. Let every Senator go on record so we know whose side they’re on. I’m on the side of every American who demands action on gun safety to save lives. You’re on the wrong side.

This was my theory. They are so damn afraid to lose power over everyone. Next they will be forcing white women to reproduce just to kee their numbers up. Smh.
