Puts on classical music. Fires up some work tasks. Immediately inspired and digs in. 10 minutes later ..... no work is getting done at all but is on another plane of relaxation and waving arm around like a fool. Every time.

And nothing but density projects on the horizon. Perhaps that’s the game we have to play to get the extra services. Hopefully they’ll let us keep our area rate so we can persist the few community facilities we have, as we like them.

Simple Newtonian physics : An object in motion, stays in motion until an external force asserts influence. ‘Hoops’ & ‘Burden’ are not natural functions of a long running, community supported org. whose volunteers happily manage its collective resources. They are foreign.

This football is so fun to watch. I’m a defensive guy. For now, the defense in this league is just better than the offense. It’s got my attention!

I hope you didn’t stack math with Mr. Lyne and chemistry with Mr. MacDonald in the same semester. It’s too much.

I think you meant to say price-fixing instead of competition. Data is a commodity, but its priced as a premium product. Heck I'd even call it a public utility at this point and so profits should have controls.

Its like walking into Subway and where you're only allowed to ask for a generic sandwich. In one shop you'll get a cheap cold cut 6'', and the next shop will give you a 12'' double meat double bacon. You're forced to pay for what they decide to serve up.

The whole idea of billing by data consumption is ridiculous notion in my mind. We have no control on how much data the content we consume uses. Sites are incented to push down cached content you don't need and no longer optimize due to other countries unlimited/low costs plans.

From today's funeral of the 7 kids who came to Canada 2 years ago and died in the deadliest house fire in Nova Scotian recent history on Tuesday.. I learned this: "Life is so short, life is so short.. We don't have time to love. I don't know where people find the time to hate"

This is beautiful. How Canadian is it to realize that being the best, winning, is better when you get to share it with others.
