Wow that's the longest I've had to wait for a bus in Pittsburgh on a route that otherwise has buses every 5-10 minutes. 5 buses went by that were completely full, over the course of 30 minutes.

@SlackHQ it would be awesome if we had an option to disable the auto rich text & go back to the render-on-send model! :)
Also, since render-upon-typing became a thing, I've been getting this alert on *every* message on my phone (even though msg shows up fine). What's going on? pic.twitter.com/l6HF2nkJqI

Interactive Typeahead allows selecting a file by typing a prefix. Nautilus dropped support at some point (making typing mean recursive search). I thus had a fork that reintroduced it for Debian Stretch's version of Nautilus. Just updated it for Buster! github.com/jaybosamiya/na…

When you finish a PhD in computer science, they take you to a special room and explain that you must never use recursion in real life. Its only purpose is to make programming hard for undergrads. twitter.com/nneonneo/statu…

My writeup for RSA Chained from last weekend's DragonCTF Teaser, where we use the Coppersmith attack and Hensel's lemma to break 4 different RSA keys, including 2 multi-prime keys (p*q*r) and 1 key of the form p*q*q.

Just published my writeup for CPU Adventure at DSCTF, wherein me, @zwad3, @thebluepichu and @jay_f0xtr0t reverse engineered a program written for a completely unknown, custom CPU with no access to the CPU, emulator or any documentation: robertxiao.ca/hacking/dsctf-…

I know they won't take over the world but seriously the guarantees you get with a dependent type system, when used right, feel just magical!

After having programmed for over 2 years now in a language with dependent types, languages without them feel clunky.

We've all accidentally committed debug code even though we've marked it as "DO NOT COMMIT", right? Well, not anymore! Global git hooks are amazing! github.com/jaybosamiya/do…

I really want to binge watch the previous seasons *again*, and I wish I could do so right now! This show is just so damn good. October can't come fast enough!
If you haven't seen any of the previous seasons, you are really missing out and I strongly recommend watching them! twitter.com/whoismrrobot/s…

And just like that, summer's flown by. Hard to see time pass when you're enjoying yourself so much. Made some awesome friendships, met amazing people, attended brilliant talks, worked on really cool stuff and overall had a really fun time! Thanks for everything @MSFTResearch!

Ropship was a super fun challenge. We were a tad bit disappointed that it closed just a couple of ticks after we got an active strategy working (rather than fixed static strat), but it was still super fun and exciting the entire time. Looking forward to your writeup on it! :)
