The Logitech K120 is no longer being used on the lab. I think it was a Dell keyboard when I took it in March. It was a standard 104 keyboard.

Finally, I have actually done what my managers have told me for the longest time, which was to put my phone down, stop answering emails, and enjoy time "cut off" while on PTO. I ask others who are in similar positions to do the same. It's such an amazing feeling!

Currently I'm sitting out on the lake and enjoying her and her family's company, I feel so relaxed and free. Everyone who knows me will tell you that I absolutely love my job and their values. I love helping my customers with their issues, even across the world on a cruise ship.

So these last six months have been a life changer. I met someone who has completely changed my life for the better. For once, I finally realize that family comes first over work.

It's a good way to learn for sure. Find Linux apps that fulfill your windows needs and stick with it. Libre/Open/Star Office, XMMS, pianobar, chromium, etc. Try to use text based tools when you can over their gui based counterparts. Nmap vs zenmap, for example. Have fun!

Want more OSPF troubleshooting now that Cisco Live is over? I just added an OSPFv3/IPv6 focused variant to help you master the OSPFv2 database. This is must-watch material for CCIE RS/SP students, as well as the new CCIE Ent. Infra. candidates.

“What if we patch and it breaks something.” What if you don’t patch and instead sabotage the productivity of your entire workforce for years through inexplicable software issues they learn to stop complaining about by the damning numbness of your IT department and its leadership.
