Can there be a "none of the above" option? 😬

Though I disagree with him on nearly everything, I take no pleasure in the suffering and probable death of anyone.

Agreed. We have so much to learn from each other, and so many things yet to be discovered by anyone that we can only reach through the constant exchange, evolution, and reconstruction of old ideas into new ones.

Rofl. The cultural appropriation complaint crowd are the modern segregationists, only this time dividing by ideas rather than race. Cultures are fluid. They grow, change, interact with other cultures, adopt & modify ideas as they go. It's a beautiful process that enriches us all.

Well, it's more complex than that, particularly for English, which adopts elements from numerous languages developed by numerous races across thousands of years. Languages are living, fluid things that grow and evolve over time, accepting contributions wherever useful.

Heck, you could honestly apply this to how anyone treats anyone :). That said, I'd also say this is just one of many additional metrics for judging people. We all have our good days and bad, after all. I try to look for the good as much as possible.

Actually, they can't. In a truly free market, there's always freedom to compete. If the service or product provided by the monopoly is that valuable, competition *will* arise, unless explicitly outlawed, simply because others see an opportunity.

You know what's even more meaningful? Leaving everyone alone to make their own choices about what does and doesn't work for them :).

The word "feminist" is completely beset with contradictory definitions, sadly. I consider myself a feminist when it means the support of unilateral equality of rights for women vis a vis men. Why make it any more difficult than that?

Maybe, but then he'd make a terrible, dreary, overly dark movie that completely misses the point :P.

Providing a service for others for a fee *is* working for your own good :)

People working to ban STR's are bullies, pure and simple. They have no respect for private property, freedom, or the rights or needs of their neighbors.

I'd recommend trying an Android phone. Now that we're finally in an age where Android One delivers a bloatware-free option, you can get some great devices for pretty cheap! I went from an iPhone 7+ to OnePlus 6t and couldn't be happier.

Mostly the sequels, although I actually thought a New Hope was boring as dirt. I really love empire strikes back, I like return of the Jedi, and I love rogue one. The rest of them, I just don't care. Well, except for last Jedi. I hate that movie with a seething passion.

Hey, remember when HP did this with printer cartridges? And Keurig tried it with coffee pods? I wonder why no one ever learns, lol.

I'd suggest that if people are free to choose, no ideology will ever "take over", but instead will evolve and adapt to function in a context where multiple and varied ideologies are a given. I.e., We can trade whether or not we agree there's a god, goddess, or nothing at all.
