If you cared about those issues, you wouldn't be pro-Trump.

“I wonder why more white players aren’t kneeling... Once you witness the truly deep inequality & endless racism POC face in our country, not to mention the police brutality & murders. Why not kneel next to your brothers? Otherwise how are you not complicit?” — Amy Schumer

Have had critiques of Amy Schumer in past, but the challenge to white players to kneel in solidarity needs to be said, including by famous white people. To the cynics in comments who claim she is disingenuous, well can we get more famous white ppl to do the same?

I read the plan and there's nothing in it for the disabled. It leaves them completely out. It's only for those filing tax returns and most disabled people don't get enough to file taxes and they're struggling. Many are barely keeping a roof over their heads & food on the table.

If it's a tax credit, then that suggests it would only be given to people who can file income taxes. PWD who receive SSDI/SSI often don't receive enough to file. This program as described could be great for middle class, but it would never help already impoverished people.

In lay terms, when you have post-exercise soreness you have enough 'energy' in the muscles to move, but it 'hurts.' In PEM the muscles don't have enough 'energy' to contract normally. Ever seen a marathon runner when this occurs? They recover in days, however with PEM you don't!

If healthy persons experience this after exercise, all the gyms would close and sports would be over.

This is why the term "chronic fatigue syndrome," the only name most Americans know to refer to this illness, is so problematic. It implies that the symptoms are on a gradient of normal, when in fact they're multi-system and often debilitating.

Yep I interviewed a young man for my who effectively paid for his Paris vacation each year by buying his Advair in France. Why do Americans put up with this?

Great news. But not a tale of "scientific evidence being over-ridden by the opinions of activists" or “capitulat[ing] to lobbying from small numbers of vocal patient[s]." This is bad science being recognized as such--which it frankly shouldn't take patient advocacy to achieve.
