Writing Twitter, I come bearing gifts... I’ve been working with former editors from The New York Times and The Hustle on a lightweight editing guide. It’s a simple, high-impact checklist you can use to edit your work like a pro. RT this or reply below & I’ll DM it to you.

Friendly reminder that phase 3 doesn’t mean it’s safer to go to the movies or get your nails done than it was in march, it just means that both the state and federal government don’t care if you die doing it

looks nice. If this works on mobile and if it is lightweight then I am ALL IN. Can’t wait to test this.

Uhhh?! I HAVE to make that conversion task. The question is not about whether its better to play the vinyl instead of the 96khz/24bit file of it... but if the Rega Planar 3 will do a better job than the Planar 1 for that digital transfert.

Would you use a Planar 1 if you wanted to convert to digital a vinyl record limited to 1 copy with songs not available elsewhere even digital? Or would you go for a Planar 3?

I need to convert to 24bit/96khz... the Fono Mini A2D serms to work only at 16bit/44.1khz/48khz... if i buy this, it will only for the preamps not for the USB thing...

i have records with songs unavailable on digital. Is the P1 sufficient to convert my vinyl records to digital (24bit/96khz from a Motu dac)? I’d love to have the P3... but money is a concern. What would bring the P3 vs the P1?

any recommendation on an (or website?) about storage strategies (like avoiding to store same file multiple times when several users upload that same file on their account for example), with soft/hard , , and dealing with backup?

Purchased the book yesterday, some very useful things. But unfortunately, I haven’t found what I was looking for: concrete data storage strategies, with soft/hard deletion. The book points to some problems, but lacks on their practical/technical solutions imo.

Thanks for reply! I’ll probably purchase the book+ebook tonight. Looking forward to read what is the consensus about the way to deal with users uploads on a platform. How to deal the storage, the deletion (hard or soft), etc.
