Horrible Idea. I have seen these awning from the 1960 buildings and they never work.

They're just renders but I've never seen an apartment block that looks like this. The louvers and massive canopies are great but I'm guessing it only costs $145,000 per unit because there isn't any insulation or HVAC — which means it would only be safe near the ocean, not inland
