Until my baby was born everyone said my husband and I looked alike. But our kid so exactly looks like my husband now and somehow much much less so like me (just got my hair and earlobes)

PMs sometimes treat their review decks like a movie, building up tension to the grand reveal. Instead, briefly name the result at the beginning (like "spoiler alert: we're building a widget"). It's easier to follow along and focuses the feedback you get.

I always read them when I did resume screening - but PM might be a unique position where you can learn a lot about communication skills and customer focus from them.

I'm surprised to hear you say that! It seems like w/o cover letters you get screened purely on your resume which might not tell the whole story. If you've got Google & Stanford on your resume that's fine, but it seems like cover letters let everyone else have a chance to standout

Hot take on , a brief thread... Everyone who works in a physical office 🏢 asks me the same question: "How do you effectively get work done without those 'chance hallway encounters'?"
