According to the Act, two offences are listed as reportable re lying about a candidate to affect election results. There are other provisions against false reporting or misleading statements by phone.

This dude just spouts off nonsense like none of us have memories or Google. Obama first vetoed Keystone in February, 2015 when was in Prime Minister Stephen Harper's cabinet. Perhaps he can remind us what Harper did to stand up to Obama.

What I meant is it is different from the last time. A number of Canadians living overseas told me they can’t vote because they’ve been away for more than five years. I told him that’s no longer the case. So in a way it is new this election (i.e. as you say, reinstated).

When he doesn’t want answer he obfuscates and then attacks Trudeau. What is it with and his inability to accept responsibility? These are tactics.

Mr. Scheer’s pants are on fire again. “Their continued insistence that they’re making maternity and parental leave tax free is patently incorrect.” The Canada Child Benefit actually helps families in . The Conservatives voted against it.

A quick reminder: One of the 1st things did was raise taxes on the wealthiest 1% so we could cut taxes for 9 million middle class Canadians. The Conservatives? They voted against it.

This is good news for AB, SK, and NL, but Andrew Scheer thinks it's bad news because he chided Justin Trudeau for Saudi Arabia's decision to curtail production and therefore to lift prices. Conservative confusion, as usual.

🇨🇦NEW THIS FEDERAL ELECTION: Tell all your Canadian friends and family abroad to apply online to vote. As long as they lived in Canada at some point in their lives, they are eligible to vote. Once registered, Elections Canada will send them a voting kit.

That’s why we need to call these out and tougher penalties for misinformation/falsehoods.

Andrew Scheer is sticking by his candidate who has made Islamophobic remarks, followed by a non-apology. She has also made homophobic remarks that disqualified her as a PC candidate in Ontario. Why is he that desperate for candidates?

Andrew Scheer says there's no room for bigotry in his Conservative party, and yet he's fine to stand by a candidate who has said things so hateful and ignorant that even Doug Ford wouldn't accept her into the provincial party.

Not all lies are reportable to the Elections Comm. Ones that falsely state that a candidate or leader “has committed, or has been charged with or is under investigation for, an offence under federal or provincial law” are. To complain:

It's seriously scary that Scheer is applying for a job he has little clue about. I've heard about "fake it til you make it" but this is getting ridiculous.
