No.16 'Why are you looking at me like that' Ready for a remarkable example of (lesbian) eroticism in classic horror? Gloria Holden as DRACULA'S DAUGHTER (1936, Hillyer), asks Nan Grey to 'model' for her and lower her top. Maybe the Production Code had a day off?

Really enjoyed your post about Alison Louise Downe, tweeted by ! Downe is someone I've been fascinated with for a long time but about whom I couldn't seem to find info. Great job!

I took my best friend to the Angelika last night to see as real audience members in a theater where we’ve seen countless films together over the years. 10:15 showing on a Monday night. There was one other audience member there and I surprised him with a Q&A 😂😂😂

Fantastic banner. i love the razzmatazz feeling of the logo with Your name, Ma'am. Like it's in lights, drawing fans, minions & admirers irresistibly along the Great Blonde Way of Femdom! (May i say, the more i listen to Your files like Heart Throb, the more enamored i become~😍)

There was another movie, took place in a cabin in the woods somewhere, it was B&W..wait! Just checked IMDb. It was called Babes in the Woods. And I was right on the title & helmer of Naughty New York. IMDb has a nice filmography!

I think one of the films was called Naughty New York or something, possibly directed by Jerald "Satan in High Heels" Intrator, tho it's been quite a long time since I saw it. Bunny was in a Garden of Eden type scene holding an apple, if I recall..I rented it from long-gone Kim's.

It was cool, though really brief; we just talked for a few minutes, and I told him I liked his nudie-cuties especially. Seemed like an amiable guy.

I've seen skin flicks so obscure with Bunny that make HGL's look like monuments of cinema in comparison. Went to Kim's Video on St. Marks Place & if I found a softcore movie with her, total delight. NOT a great thesp, her loveliness & presence nonetheless glued me to the screen!

WOW. This is an incredible article by about Louise “Bunny” Downe, the forgotten/suppressed woman behind Hershell Gordon Lewis’ films: screenplays, gore effects and MUCH more. My new hero of horror!

Wow indeed! This is so cool. THANK YOU for tweeting this! Look forward to reading. I have looked for info on Bunny Downe for awhile and never found it before. I even met HGL at a memorabilia show briefly years ago and tried to ask him about her, but he didn't say anything.

Fabulous covers indeed! With the verbal energy of the previous generation of pulp magazine covers to inescapably draw the readers in. Thanks for another cool post, Chris!
