I don´t think so. Norway accepts 70% of EU law without having any say in its legislation in return for access to the EEA . What have the Brexiteers said to show they would EVER accept that kind of arrangement?

Also the reasons for the Norwegian result Were specific: protection of Norwegian agriculture/fisheries etc. Not tainted with broad concerns of a loss of oversll sovereignty/national identitey so compromise in its aftermath easier

Emm.. not sure that was the sequence of events. Norway joined the EEA January 1st 1994. The Referendum was held November 1994.
