Media reports published today that Intel is ending work on the 10nm process are untrue. We are making good progress on 10nm. Yields are improving consistent with the timeline we shared during our last earnings report.

Does anybody else find this a bit strange? When has Intel ever responded to an internet rumor so quickly? Normally they make some statment about not commenting on rumors. Why couldn't they wait 3 days until earnings to dispell this? What's more, this is during their quiet period.
