biggest farce ever, this rider for the previous races that year was struggling to be even mid table and then like magic won the vuelta as a domestique to Wiggins … I wonder what really thinks ?

So it's official that JJ Cobo loses the Vuelta in which he passed the same antidoping controls as his rivals while Froome mantains the Vuelta 2017 in which he tested positive while his rivals didn't. OK.

But he didn't pass the doping controls. That's why he's been DQed.

It is, in any case, a double standard from the moment in which a salbutamol threshold of >1,000 ng/ml turns into an automatic suspension for anybody which might be cleared later - or not - (e.g. Petacchi, Ulissi) except for him.

Go have a read on the case and the reason why he wasn’t suspended. Where you read about swimmers too, that’s a proper writing.

Doping still pays. Cobo got a good €contract after as a GT winner. Now teaches surfing with a few € in the bank. Nice 👍🏻
