Yes, I think a crisis revealing flaws in a relationship is understandable, and very different from the stories of people just walking out on partners w/ chronic illness etc. Also, I'm sorry to hear you went through the former--that sounds tough, even if it's a good thing overall.

I absolutely agree that people should use care services of whatever kind they need. That sounds hard for your dad.

"Outrage." Presumably because, as Jesus so often said, furniture is so much more important than people.

I wonder about this, & also BDSM. It's not my call, but as a demisexual in a m/f relationship, I find it a bit odd that my sexuality is included (mostly) by the LGBTQ+ community, but that of someone in an obviously much less "mainstream" relationship isn't.

I've been making good use of my smallish face mister. I would like it to be a) bigger and b) colder.

Some people are awful (and our ableist culture enables that). But some people are good.

This is horrible. But on the other side, I would like to offer the many, many, MANY people I've come across who are loving & caring for partners with dementia, without resentment & despite the fact that, in some cases, the person they married is effectively no longer there.

Officials at the very top of said stuff like “Abbott is truly repulsive” “Abbott literally makes me sick” and conspired with media against me. Now claiming remarks taken out of context. So let’s have full publication of all communications

Hiroshima is devastated by the atomic bomb Little Man in 1945. 140,000 killed, the plight of those who survived was even worse, many suffering from the radioactive fallout. This was a war crime in any way you see it.

is so important because it involves us collectively thinking about what a nuclear weapon actually is - a weapon of mass destruction that if ever used can only kill large numbers of civilians.

Oh, I've always liked the sound of that meal! You eat your boring soup and then you get a jam omelette! And a glass of cream! (I think my dad sometimes made me jam omelettes when I was little. It's very nursery food.)
