I don't think we've seen that. What is the issue that you're seeing? If you're logging in, it will be detected as a different IP. To avoid that, you can use the Webrecorder Desktop App and capture locally.

Omeka, DSpace, Islandora etc. devs: this is a good offer and y’all should take Ilya up on it if you can. WARCs in y’all’s systems would be cool.

Thanks! Some examples of this in recent blog post: Each embed is loaded from a small WARC directly in browser, Assume could integrate this system for loading WARCs in a frame with Omeka. Happy to chat more/help out with this if there is interest!

I've been working on a new prototype to allow opening WARCs directly in browser, like PDFs: This system is entirely client-side and could be integrated into any HTML page -- no server required. The catch is it requires newer browsers (won't work in IE)

I've been thinking about this also: main approach would be to run additional server-side software, such as Webrecorder/pywb and integrate into CMS/IR -- this was only option until recently, and still a good choice, but requires extra maintenance -- only option until recently

Yes, it would be great to see web archive replay integrated into existing CMS and digital repository platforms. Can you explain more about the use case? Do you want to have an archived page displayed in a frame inside of an Omeka page?

No worries! Something for us to make clearer on how Webrecorder works! Are you able to log in and capture the content? Maybe better to continue over DM or email us at support@webrecorder.io

Webrecorder is capturing or 'recording' interactively while you browse, the size counter indicates how much has been captured thus far. When you're done, you can click Stop and then you can browse the capture. Happy to assist more if you having issues with a particular site

I hope it will eventually! Still a proof-of-concept but I think has a lot of potential in a few different areas

Hi, this is just a proof-of-concept of 'micro-web' archiving for possible fact checking or maybe embeds more 'stable' in general. Happy to hear about additional use cases or how this could be useful to your work!

Thanks! So far, the functionality in the blog is still a proof-of-concept but definitely expandable into a full-fledged tool. Would be curious about what use cases you are thinking and what would be useful. DMs open!

So far, this is just a proof-of-concept that something like this is possible: archived interactive embeds, side-by-side compare, self-hosting. What would you like to see? Would be very interested to chat about your use case for fact checking! DMs open!

Embeds (tweets, videos, etc...) are such a common part of modern web publishing. But embeds can disappear and change... What if publishers could host 'archival embeds' and present both? For , we present a new experiment on our blog:

We built Mapeo differently, with a set of principles called “local-first software" New post by shows how this pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in technology so that we can better stand in solidarity with marginalized communities.

Ah interesting, imagine there's a few issues to resolve, yes. Hopefully access could be part of it as well eventually? I have some thoughts on this, happy to chat further if perhaps our tools can be of help.

I'd be curious about this as well! And if the answer is no, but yes to images, pdfs, videos etc... why not warcs? what would make the difference (better workflow, tools, cost etc...) Really interested in finding ways to make this easier
