Bringing the world of music to Humboldt County. The Symphony had a record breaking night tonight! Generous support for their Schools to Symphony program. 1,400 4th & 5th graders from across the County attend a Symphony performance every year at no charge. It’s a huge hit!

TY for signing SB 833. For the first time, California will establish statewide emergency alert standards, training for local emergency managers will be advanced and it expands where emergency alerts will be deployed. Bottom line, this legislation will save lives.

The Huskies know how to throw a party! High School’s Lip Sync Contest - held the night before the homecoming game each year - was pretty unbelievable tonight. Each class was decked out in costumes, all had a theme and all were choreographed to music. Blown away!

Big thank you to the Board of Directors for sitting down tonight. Great conversation over some tasty North Coast suds - and fried mozzarella sticks (of course) - from the famous Eel River Brewery! 🍺

Talking about the potential of a 100 - 150 megawatt floating wind farm project off of the Humboldt coast. Great start of a partnership with the Redwood Coast Energy Authority (made up of County leaders) and Principle Power. A lot more work ahead.

On the road and on the move to , a couple of days of meetings and the High School Lip Sync contest tonight! Be cautious out there over the next few days - There’s a red flag warning (high fire danger) in many areas of the North Coast and North Bay.
