I always did well in school, but apparently my biggest achievement was: somehow graduating without ever doing blackface???

Let this be a lesson to all. Don't transfer points while brushing your teeth and always reconcile account numbers before any points transfers. Don't just eyeball the account number because sometimes the incorrect one can be very similar to the new one

Nearly Bonvoyed myself. My pre and post IT integration # are v similar so when transferring Amex points I didn't realize the old account # was there. Somehow the points showed up in my new account because it's still linked to old. Credit to Marriott for preventing being Bonvoyed

Ever since I learned about HOAs years ago I've thought they're trash. It's my property I do what I want

My sister is loan sharking me over $3 because I didn't have any cash on me at the time. I asked her when and where she planned on breaking my legs so I could make sure to I don't wear my nice pants

Just keep an eye on it. If you see it's been closed for reservations I'd be concerned

I'd only take the flight out of EWR if it's a close in booking during or during peak season. I was originally on it this November but CX was randomly cancelling flights

It's a great way to adjust quickly. I think that SQ22 is perfectly timed and that is what has and will continue to win me over. The schedule in the other direction isn't so great but plenty of other options. I like the late night CX departures to HKG

I'm up for the first 5-6 hours because that's daytime in the US. I sleep for the next 8-10-ish might wake up for a meal. I'm up the last two hours of the flight. This way I'm asleep overnight EST so instead of arriving and being up for 8 hours it just feels like an early AM start

This ad on the train monitor says to set a financial goal and once you reach your savings goal to throw a party to celebrate with like minded friends. But that defeats the point of saving!
