I'm just trying to understand the logistics. If it's the government's call and bars (indoor and outdoor) and outdoor tailgating options are available, why wouldn't the game be open to select % of capacity? If it's truly a Ravens decision, that's fine and it's a different convo

I have been told all off-season and recently that the decision to have or not have fans had nothing do with the team and eveyrhting to do with the government advisement. So I am not sure which one it is rn to be honest.

It certainly isn't achievable or we'd be doing it right? I find it odd the Ravens would have the okay to have fans and still say no. And if that is the case, I think the fans would be quite frustrated by that

My understanding is the Ravens need the approval from local government to make a decision in the matter. You think the Ravens are sitting by idly on their hands while other establishments earn? If they are, that'd be stunning to me and tbh would make it about the team for me

I'd love to hear how I am being obtuse here. A canton bar just informed me they can open at 50% capacity indoors. Outside is open as well as long as they are socially distant. How is a football game the only place where 0% is allowed? It simply doesnt add up

so these other teams are taking on 100% liability if they allow fans and an outbreak occurs? why would the franchises sign up for that?

None of this is the Ravens responsibility. I just spoke to someone at a Canton bar and they said they are open at 50% capacity inside and outside all tables are available and 6 feet apart. So why is a football game unachievable?

Why are the bars open? Why are restaurants open? I dont think they arent adhering. MY understanding is they are allowed to be open in some capacity. You can't socially distance 5-10K of fans? I find that remarkably difficult to believe

It's also not their decision. Wasnt making it about the team. If you can be okay with the bars being packed and the socially distanced tailgating but not fans in the game then good for you. That couldnt possibly make any less sense.
