What a night this was. 5,000 Barnet fans at Old Trafford midweek. My 12 year old self was having the time of his life when Deano took it round Tim Howard.

This is fair. I think it’s probably more hit than miss, especially if you’re interested in broad football coverage - rather than one specific club. It’s also supporting a good journalism model, paying for content and good writers, rather than ad-funded which encourages churn.

Every day is so good. Amazing in-depth football coverage. Great stories, beautifully written. This is not an ad, I just like it when things are done brilliantly.

Have received scores of messages from downgraded students. Here are a few. Firstly, David. He goes to an FE college in Gateshead. He's the first in his family to go to uni. He got a place (Cambridge) to read engineering. Assessed AA*A- got A*AB. Place is on hold.

For those interested in bias and algorithms, here is the bit in Future Politics which discusses the Neutrality Fallacy: the flawed idea that an algorithm is just or fair if it treats everyone the same. neutral algorithms entrench and amplify pre-existing injustices.
