Largest wildfire in Los Angeles history forces hundreds to evacuate

Homes in downtown Los Angeles were evacuated Saturday as a massive brush fire continued to spread throughout the Verdugo Mountains. The blaze, which Mayor Eric Garcetti said was the largest fire by area in the city's history, destroyed three homes, but no injuries were reported.
