WordPad can convert to Unicode - particularly handy if you see the default glyph and want to translate πŸ“š

If you add Shift between WIN & <β¬…/➑>, instead of snapping the window left & right, it'll cycle it between monitors 😎

Ctrl+Shift+Esc opens Task Manager. Setting TM "Always on Top" means it'll appear at the forefront, even w/ a frozen fullscreen game πŸ’»

Have certain apps you open frequently? Take a moment to pin them to your taskbar and note the position - WIN+# will launch the app pinned in that position, WIN+Shift+# will launch a new window of it (if the app supports it)

Alt-PrtScn is my new favourite thing - it's almost giving Snipping Tool a run for it's money (aaaalmost - so easy to highlight with ST, tho)

If you're using an app that has a back button in the title bar (like Settings or Feedback Hub), pressing WIN+Backspace will "press" the back button

The updated snipping experience - press WIN+Shift+S & you can choose between rectangle, freeform, or full screen 😊 You can also invoke via PrintScreen or pen click (if enabled in Settings), screen snipping button in Action Center, or from Screen Sketch

If you need to walk away from your computer for whatever reason, press WIN+L to lock it. It only takes a second and a person taking a look at your unlocked PC may not always have a friendly prank in mind

If you or someone you know is colour blind, it's important to know that Windows 10 has 3 colourblindness filters you can choose from to help make colours more distinct If enabled in Settings, you can quickly turn on or off your preferred filter via WIN+Ctrl+C

Virtual Desktops can help you cognitively separate the things you're doing at any given moment: WIN+Ctrl+D = New desktop WIN+Ctrl+Left/Right = switch desktops WIN+Ctrl+F4 = Close desktop Want an app to show across all desktops? Right-click the app in Task View (WIN+Tab)

Handy to remember: WIN+PrtScn = Save a fullscreen screenshot WIN+Shift+Enter = Make a UWP app go fullscreen WIN+Ctrl+Shift+B = Lets the system know there's an issue w/ the display & the system will try to correct it WIN+H = Dictation (en-us) WIN+P = Presentation display mode
