This is fairly frightening (not that we needed more to stress out about in 2020, or anything). // In Nagorno-Karabakh, drones gave Azerbaijan huge advantage and showed future of warfare.

What an absolutely pathetic, small man leading his equally pathetic cult. Glad these have to stop in January (unless he files to run again).

That press conference was the most dangerous 1hr 45 minutes of television in American history. And possibly the craziest. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you’re lucky.

NOTE: you can totally alias it to "brew" (shells are smart). I'll probably end up doing that before long, but I wanted a reminder I'm on Apple Silicon.

macOS Big Sur Apple Silicon field report update… Can't live w/o Homebrew, so the Mini is now a TNG Holodeck (hopefully w/o an embedded Holmes nemesis) given how many times a day I'm typing "arch". Here's how to get brew going

Frankly, it's kind of _adorable_ seeing macOS hdevs whine abt how Apple is underscoring how un-ready they were to cow-tow to them re: Universal apps. It's super hard to take any privileged class seriously these days.

So, macOS Big Sur Apple Silicon folks… one thing I seem to have left off is XQuartz. I've not seen discussion of arm64 (M1) port for it in the dev lists but there is a GH issue tracking it: It runs fine under Rosetta 2.
