Speaker/MPs I ask you yet again to reconvene the August house and make a covid-19 bill allow for government to engage textile industries to produce masks in millions to save Kenyans lives. Those that will die in your constituents will haunt you for ever. Taiwan makes 1m a day.

I suggested a few days ago that during shutdown employers pay wages for workers and recover from income tax at end of year. That’s spending tax at source but it fell on deaf ears.

MPs be recalled to enact a lockdown bill which will-1. landlords of Sh.20k and bellow don’t charge rent and be allowed that amt. as an expenditure for tax purposes. 2. All wage payers to pay wages during lockdown and report the exps for income tax purposes.(spend tax at source)
