Can't begin to tell you how grateful we are for all the nice comments about our MASN voices. Unusual season to say the least, and we all did our best to keep it real, entertaining, and informative no what what the situation. Look forward to catching up at Spring training in WPB.

3 games in Colorado and the 2018 season is put to bed. With young talent on this club, the future is so bright and hopefully Bryce is a part of it. I think we all hope so. Guys busted their tails this year and so many things just failed to fall their way.

Victor Robles showed flashes today of just what the future holds for the Nat's. This young guy has the whole package...All he needs is to play and Davy Martinez is letting him do just that!

A muckedy muck night in Philly ...incredible scene of the infield , totally unplayable for the Nat's game. Proud of our Nat's grounds crew, John Turnour and his great crew have done a extraordinary job with our park this year.

Yesterday was the most emotional Maryland football game i've done in 40 years. The passing of Jordan McNair was on my mind the entire game and to watch the spirit, fight, determination, and togetherness of this team was incredible as they upset Texas.. Great job guys!

Just another typical Max Scherzer performance ! What else is new? Every 5th day we watch a future hall of famer and possibly FOUR time Cy Young winner, not to mention one of the good guys in Baseball. What a pleasure to watch Max pitch.

Thanks Greg, appreciate the kind words. I came to DC from San Francisco in 1969 with WWDC for 10 years, then WMAL and ABC Radio Sports after that. Good stations with good people.

You gotta Love what Tommy Milone has done in his first Two starts..ZERO walks 17 strikeouts and picked up his first win this season in the big leagues today.

We all know this has been a rough stretch for the Nat's. so what did you do...give up on the club?. No way!. No one feels worse that those guys in the clubhouse. Back home for 10 starting Tues and a good time to string some wins together.

Lamont Jordan and Adrian Branch , Two Terps that I had the pleasure of watching and calling their games are headed to the Maryland Athletic Hall of fame. Well deserved for both superstars and first class individuals.

Could not be happier for Tanner Roark. He pitched his tail off today with 8 shutout innings allowing just 3 hits and fanned a season high 11. The guys a winner, never complains and gives it his best every time he takes to the mound. Keep it going Tanner!!

You are probably correct BUT in retrospect look what Bryce did in the HR derby, then homered in yesterdays marathon...maybe this is what gets him going, we sure need him !! Thanks for the note
