In just 2 1/2 years, Denis O'Brien took 698 flights on his €70m private jet to avoid tax in Ireland. He flew 2,012 hrs,or 804 hrs per year (33 full days in air).
Yet airline fuel is excluded from #carbontax. But a granny heating her home in winter is the problem? #rtept #GE2020

Another day in the tortured life of Nicky Morgan, continually reminded why she did absolutely the right thing by refusing to serve in the government in which she now serves.

Also Kate is a spokesperson for Trump's party -twitter.com/StillDelvingH/…
& the co-director of a think tank that advocates the end of the NHS *because it was specifically paid for that by a US/Nassau religious foundation*

Hey @bbcpolitics now could be a good timing to give exhaustive information about who you broadcast -in the public’s interest... and yours.

This article by my mate @JamesMelville for the brilliant @BylineTimes absolutely nails it: within hours of Brexit, those responsible for it started 'Project Blame,' to ensure that when this all goes wrong they'll have their alibis ready.

Sorry to say but it’s a universal view that this CCHQ / Tory press office is the worst in memory. So weak on MP/member disciplinary issues. But refusing to comment on anything or even acknowledge press enquiries - even when Tory MPs are publicly telling them to. Amateur hour. twitter.com/alexwickham/st…

I'm a middle-aged straight white man - what Grayson Perry calls a "default male" and even I know this isn't right. Not even just not right, but really really wrong. How about just commissioning and promoting PoC authors? Would that hurt so much?

Thinking positively, I wonder if the new use of “transition period” by @BorisJohnson frees up the word “implementation” for the coming transition period that dare not speak its name. 1/2 twitter.com/jennifermerode…

#brexit has always been full of prima facie ludicrous timetables - the latest being that even if we do deal by Nov 2020 there is no way biz can absorb & implement new processes by Jan 1 2021. Will need to be some kind of taper. 2/2

Inevitably, people clutching their pearls over a female MP’s top were supremely comfortable with a male MP sprawling all over the front bench like a sybarite. But, you know, ‘decorum’ & ‘respect’ or something.
