Lost in the news this week: A 40-year-old man died in CBP custody on Monday. He is the fourth person to die in detention in recent months. The other fatalities include a 7-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy. Congress must investigate conditions.

Instead of investing in Americans and their families, the Trump budget would: 1. Add $33 billion to the Defense budget for a total of $718 billion. Even without those additions, our defense budget is equal to the military spending of half the world.
