Sometimes it feels like the whole world wants to talk you out of making a fuss about anything. Fuck it, make a fuss. Take care of yourself.

Fuck the "go have a drink" school of thought that runs this world. Hold your ground. Speak up for what you believe. Then maybe have a drink.

Doctors often say "thank god you caught this" OR "this is nothing, WTF is up w/ you?" Rarer: "You're fine but glad you're paying attention."

Totally agree! I'm 30 + always check new "freckles" to make sure they are just that. Derm applauds me for not waiting until it's too late.

Ha, thanks! I'm fine! Just feel like women get told to chill about health stuff too much. Echoes of "hysteria." Paranoia saves lives!

Only thing I would add: Make the doctors appointments and go to them! Don't let yourself skate. Take it seriously, indeed. 👍
