Yes, I believe Jesus "literally" rose from the dead. But I also don't like the way "literally" ends up being opposed to "mysterious," as if the gospel accounts of the empty tomb/resurrection aren't strange and wild, with Jesus walking through walls, etc.

The Power of the Resurrection is a call to come.  Come, bring Him your chaos and disorder, your wilderness and your battles, bring Him all of your many deaths – dead words, dead deeds, dead thoughts and dead hearts.

What I've been trying lately: recommend they read a small stack of other books/materials first, THEN come back when they're done for a coffee meeting. They won't come back :) But they WILL have gained more through hours reading than one hour's conversation could have afforded.

I would very much like to have a word with the woman (🙋‍♀️) that booked a 6am flight on the other side of daylight savings. How DARE she.

These words by are incredible. Read them over and over and over and over. Let them sit long enough to believe them. “We have roared from the beginning.”

Twitter's a pretty weird place for poetry but here's to keeping it weird. Happy to all my sisters out there! I'm so glad to live in a world you are shaping and remaking.
