There was also a time where Sting cut a promo with RoboCop where RoboCop essentially threatened to shoot Rick Flair. Robocop would then rescue Sting from a cage. WCW had some weird movie tie ins.

The unforgettable promo.

I will never forget that promo for as long as I live. Especially the one month build up of mysterious laughter every week.

Damn you whooped his ass. Awesome. I knew there had to be a way to continue air juggles like you did here. Really cool. Good tip about the jumps.

That is exactly where I am on that. Loved the original (played the hell out of it) and pretty excited for the next. I had Bloodstained in my Amazon cart once for like 20 bucks and was like ehhhh pass.

Okay cool. Very helpful to know for the recovery. I'll play around with the others on cancels. Thanks!

Not sure I know how to do any canceling. Also how do you do the hit back/fall recover? I've been pressing both punch/jump right before I land to recover but it only works sometimes. Any ideas? Also yes the music when a bunch of new bad guys walk into the scene is always so good.

You love your Zangief big men. I tried Adam last night too he's got an actual dash dash, a short burst with a hard stop. He's really good. I got my first A stage rank with him just testing him out.

I saw that game and it looked kind of interesting. Maybe I'll check it out when it's a little cheaper. Good to know its worth checking out.

I've listened to those tracks so many times that I haven't even turned that option on yet. The new stuff is real good you should check it out. I have all the SoR1 characters and Axle from SoR2. You?

I just watched some expert play videos on YT and if it makes you feel better I'll never be at that level. Those people are beyond good at it. Glad you're still enjoying the game regardless!

Yeah I read that, it's a bummer but still a miracle they exist.

Adam is the only one I haven't tried yet. Played through with Blaze, gave Axel a shot and then played through as Cherry. I tried the big dude briefly too. He's too slow for me. Give me the speedy characters.

And good god that soundtrack. I was a little upset that Koshiro only had a handful of tracks but it doesn't matter because it's so damn good.

Playing on Hard I thought really showed the games strength. The skirmishes mix up lots of different enemy types that keep you figuring out the best approach to each situation. You can't just mash buttons through it.

I've played through Streets of Rage 4 twice on normal & hard and it might be my favorite SoR. Cherry is super fun, that dash is so useful.
