...and with that my dreams of picking my perfect menu and saying it out loud into a microphone sail into a Kerala sunset. Bethany Lane, consider yourself blocked and reported.

Hi Rhiannon, can't wait to tell you all about it when and invite me onto the podcast. I've got so much to say about it, it's going to be really great.

I don't book his tour sadly. He's more of an independent enthusiast who can't be caged. He calls them cliff railways and seems fairly sure of himself. From what I can tell by calling them cliff railways it opens up a whole world of additional tour stops. Well worth a follow.

Don't think they've done that one yet, and I think it's too early in our online relationship for me to be pitching in with recommendations.

there's 2 of them? Or is that a cliff railway rather than a cliff railway enthusiast?

The starting pistol for me will be playing an original live score to Buster Keaton's The General in Y Tabernacl. 7pm, Friday. It doesn't get much better than that.

2 and a half weeks before Mach and I start following and retweeting someone I've never met who's just finished their job as a cliff railway operator and is now cycling around visiting other cliff railways. Says a lot about where I'm at right now.

From Machynlleth this morning on 4 trains and 12 hours later me and the bike have arrived to a beautiful sunset in Oban. Ferry tomorrow afternoon for the final part of the journey.

Day after I finish as a cliff railway operator I'm off visiting other cliff railways. Electric powered instead of water balanced. Top operator was too busy selling tickets and driving to ask him any questions.

Just switched off and locked up the cliff railway for the last time as an official operator. No doubt I'll be back to do winter maintenance.

Tomorrow I’m in Carlisle and I’m very excited. It’s in a venue called the Old Fire Station so I hope it doubles up as the town’s local Ghostbusters.

What's Mach? I think you've got the wrong twitter handle maybe? I absolutely hate podcasts so maybe you're better off taking it up with direct.
